Our activities focus on site conservation of Important Bird Areas (IBAs). We work with our in- country government and non-government partner organizations, e.g, Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation, Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology, Department of Forests, Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation, IUCN Nepal and WWF Nepal Program, to carry out several activities of common interests at various sites. Apart from the IBA conservation, BCN has some extension programmes of urban habitat restoration and management. We have been doing this in the Kathmandu Metropolitan City at Bagmati River nature Park. |
