Distribution:
This is a resident bird found in Himalayas. It is found in temperate and sub-alpine forest.

Description:
Male has red under parts with black- bordered white spots and olive brown coloration to upperparts. Facial skin is blue. Female is rufous-brown with white streaking and spotting.
