Celebration of World Sparrow Day 2020 Sparrow Count and Public Awareness

Guidelines:

• Counting will be done on 20 March 2020.
• Counting can be done sitting in one place or covering some area/distance
• If you are counting sparrow from your terrace, balcony and garden, count only for 20 minutes.
• Count the sparrows within 100m distance from you and mention number of species seen, places where they are seen and activity they were performing.

(Refer the codes of habitat and activity provided in the form.)

• Do not estimate the number of sparrow (e.g. about 50)
• Avoid the repeated count of same bird by taking care of direction of their flight after or before you count them
