BCN organized an orientation program on birds and birding technique for the students of New Horizon College in Butwal, Rupendehi on 5 February 2014. In the program the participants were oriented on the importance of birds and bird identification techniques. Around 60 students and teachers participated in the program. Bird posters and fliers with key message of bird conservation were also distributed. The students were also briefed about the membership of BCN.  Many students showed their interest to join BCN as a member. Vulture documentary was shown in the program an d the participants were very impressed by the vulture conservation work in the country.
