Account and Data Deletion

Request deletion of the account connected to your Chhimeki Chara login email.

Bird Conservation Nepal respects your privacy. You may request deletion of your Chhimeki Chara account and the personal information connected to it.

How to request deletion

  1. Select Request Data Deletion below.
  2. Enter the email address you use to sign in to Chhimeki Chara.
  3. Open the verification link sent to that email address.

After your email is verified, the account is scheduled for deletion. Bird Conservation Nepal will complete the request within 90 days.

Information that will be deleted

  • Your Chhimeki Chara account.
  • Your name, login email, profile information and location information linked to the account.
  • Other personal information associated with the account.

Information that may be retained

Bird observations used for conservation, biodiversity monitoring, research or education may be retained after personal identifiers have been removed. The retained observations will no longer be linked to your identity.
