Call for Application

Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN) is pleased to announce a call for the application of Bird Tourism Skill Training for all women and girls across Nepal. Bird Tourism Skill Training for Women and Girls is a project implemented by Bird Conservation Nepal with financial support from Australian Embassy for Nepal under the Public Diplomacy and Australian Alumni Engagement Activities 2021-22. Hence, all women and girls interested in Bird Tourism and willing to initiate Bird Tourism in their respective areas are requested to apply for the training with the cover letter. More details are;

Training: Bird Tourism Skill Training for Women and Girls

Training Venue: Ranibari Community Forest, Kathmandu

Training Duration: 5 Days

Training Date: 27-31 December 2021

 

Applicant Requirement:

·         All women and girls (fresher or few years of experience in bird guiding) are applicable for Bird Tourism Skill Training.

·         Applicants with basic education (up to grade 10) are preferenced.

·         Indigenous, marginalized and underprivileged women, and girls are prioritized for the training.

Selection Criteria

·         Two women and/or girls from each province fulfilling the application requirement will be selected.

Deadline of Application: 18 December 2021

Note: Selected applicants will be provided with round trip travel cost and basic daily subsistence cost of training duration.
