Vulture conservation and management training successfully conducted in Dhangadhi, Kailali. The training was conducted from 5-6 July 2011. The training had attempted to aware local communities and BCN’s conservation partners about the vulture conservation and management of vulture safe feeding sites. Training focused on vulture conservation works being carried out in Asia and Nepal, NSAID monitoring, vulture identification and management of safe feeding sites, vulture conservation action plan for Nepal and income generation activities in and around vulture safe feeding sites. Training review reflected that participants became clearer on vulture conservation and management works being carried out in Nepal. Altogether 25 participants from community forest user groups, partners, local NGOs and para- veterinary association of Kailali and Kanchapur district participated the training. Mr. Ananda Chaudhary, Mr. Mohan Chandra Bishwakarma, Mr. Bhupal Nepali, Mr. Ishwari Chaudhary and Mr. HIru Lal Dangaura of BCN facilitated the training.
