BCN organized a street exhibition and public awareness campaign on 5 June 2012 "World Environment Day" at Shanti Batika, Ratna Park. This street exhibition has been continuously organized since 2002 and has been very effective in spreading bird conservation message to the wider general public. The programme included display of informative boards on Nepal's bird's status and conservation issues, bird tattoo painting, quiz contest, join BCN membership, distribution of leaflets, etc. A small conservation shop was also in place with various bird related merchandises for our conservation fundraising.
