Narti Community Forest Coordination commitee and Kalika Community Forest User Froup jointly organized a Vulture Conservation awareness program in Deukhuri, Sisahaniya, Dang on 9th April 2012.  User Groups from different Community forests of Dang Deukhuri, representative from Narti range post federation, Veterinary professionals, and Community people in the local area participated in the program. Vulture Conservation Officer Mr. Khadananda Paudel and Field officer Mr. Bhupal Nepali facilitated the program.   The topics discussed in the program were: - Vulture biology, Provisional vulture safe zone concept, Co-funding /sustainability, Role of Community Forest User Groups in Vulture conservation.
