In collaboration with District Livestock Service Office (DLSO) Kapilvastu and Nepal Para Veterinary & Livestock Association (NEVLA), Kapilvastu we organised Provisional Vulture Safe Zone workshop on 13 August 2012 at Taulihawa in order to strengthen Vulture Safe Zones in Nepal. Thirty participants representing the organizing partners and representatives from government agencies, different Community Forest User Groups, veterinary pharmacies, different political parties and journalists and VDCs used an opportunity to discuss on current scenario, issues and future directions for conserving vultures in the district.
