BCN joined hands with the (Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation, DNPWC) in the celebration of the 15th Wildlife Week 2010. The programmes included bird watching tours to school students, bird watchers and environmentalists at Shivapuri National Park on April 17, 2010. Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN) take lead for the bird watching programme. BCN distributed updated official checklist of the Birds of Nepal, BCN brochure and newsletter. About 70 participants were divided in to 3 group and Sarbendra Pachhai, General Secretary of BCN, Yubraj Basnet, Treasurer of BCN, Jyotendra Jyu Thakuri, Education Officer, Bagmati Nature Park were bird watching leaders. Anil Prajapati, Suman Ale and Krishab Shrestha members of BCN helped the leaders. Also, Gautam Sapkota "Chari Dada" made some call of birds found in Shivapuri National Park.
